  • Earworm Wednesday: Yeah, This One I Don’t Like

No offense to anyone, but this one drives me up the wall.

    Sorry…

  • ODDS and ENDS: Doctor, USA, and Tired

    (I’m only sleeping…)

I’m at the doctor’s office right now, and I’m not very happy about it. In fact, I’m writing on my phone, which I hate. I’ve had better days.

I think Team USA will make it out of the Round of 32. I can’t commit to the Round of 16. I hate that I feel a little hope.

It goes without saying that I am tired today.

  • Summer Schedule is Messing with Me

I am trying to get use to our new summer schedule, being that the kid is outta school, and it just isn’t taking.

The World Cup being on isn’t helping anything either.

I know the answer to all of this is discipline, but let’s be honest, that’s never been my strong suit.

No, I’m a schedule and routine person. If you take me out of that, then I begin to flounder and feel rudderless.

    I am currently rudderless.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m getting all the big stuff done around home… You know, my stay-at-home-dad responsibilities.

But my personal creative stuff… that has fallen to the wayside…

And it’s driving me up the wall!

  • Earworm Wednesday: My Go-To Dad Joke Song

First of all there is nothing wrong with this song, other than it gets stuck in my head. Which I then have to walk around my apartment singing, until it gets stuck in my kid’s head. At which point she starts to hate me.

Other than that, the song’s soild.

  • Rainy Day Thoughts

Funny how just a little good news, just a spark of hope can put you in a better mood and start viewing the world differently.

I always thought that one day I would stop getting pimples.

A rainy day is a good excuse to stay in pajamas.

I’m glad that the kid likes to read when it rains.

I don’t like walking the dog in the rain, but the dog hates it more.

Time goes by faster than I like.

Is it too early to start wishing for Fall to arrive?

Swimming pool season is a thing.

I miss wearing a shirt and tie every weekday.
