I really did. I had a plan today, and everything went sideways.
But it was a good sideways.
I thought I would watch my daughter and a few of her friends for an hour at the park. Then thunderstorms rolled in, and my apartment was the closest place.
So we’ve had a Mario Kart tournament while the storms rolled through. Lots of snacks eaten and too many soft drinks.
No writing done, though I tried.
Summer memories made.
That’s a fair trade.
